We're excited to share the successful implementation of FM-AURA Activated Carbon pellets in air treatment ecological units, delivering high-efficiency removal of VOCs and other airborne pollutants.
π‘ Case Study: Industrial Wastewater Treatment Facility β North Africa
Challenge: The facility was experiencing elevated levels of hydrogen sulfide (HβS) and VOCs in the exhaust air from its biological wastewater treatment units, resulting in odor complaints and potential non-compliance with local air quality regulations.
Solution: FM-grade activated carbon pellets were installed in the facilityβs ecological air treatment units. The media was selected based on its high microporosity, tailored for adsorption of low molecular weight gases.
Results:
β 95%+ removal efficiency of HβS and VOCs
β Pressure drop maintained below 100 Pa, preserving system airflow
β Service life extended by 30% compared to previous carbon media
β Zero media degradation after 6 months of continuous operation
These results confirm the technical reliability and cost-effectiveness of FM-grade carbon in critical environmental applications. The pellets' consistent pore structure, high mechanical strength, and thermal stability make them an ideal choice for industrial air purification.
